As well as providing delicious food, exceptional service, drinks and hire, Limoncello Catering can also help you find the perfect venue for your event. We work with several amazing spaces, from large Town Halls or studio spaces, to theatres and listed buildings, we can help you find the perfect place to host your event. Shoreditch Town Hall

Located at 380 Old Street (EC1V 9LT), the former government building with over 46,500 square feet and 60 individual rooms, has been hosting guests since 2001. Under new management since 2012, vast improvements have been (and are continuing to be) made to the spaces all the time.

Assembly Hall is currently going through a re installation, which will give the balcony 278 more seats, and increase the capacity for the room to 750. The room measures 21.5m x18.1m, with a height of 15m. For a large reception of 600 or theatre-style event for 500, this would be perfect. It would also accommodate 300 for dinner and dancing.

The Council Chamber is another great choice. The lighting options and gorgeous detailing will add character and a wow factor to any event. It is 17.5m x8.9m, with a height of 9m. For a lovely canapé and cocktail party for 200, this is a great option. It can also seat 100 for dinner.

Hackney Venues

Recently, we’ve earned our spot on the Hackney Venues Preferred Catering list. They have a massive collection of spaces in East London to suit all types of needs and to host events large and small. Under their management, are two restored Town Halls, an eighteenth century mansion house, a station where water was pumped, sports centre and a top conference venue with all the bells and whistles.

The West Reservoir Centre is bursting with unique spirit with some of the water station features being left as focal points, and would be an excellent choice for an art show, fundraiser event, or a wedding. In the main tower, 150 guests can enjoy a standing reception or 130 can be seated for dinner. The space does have some parking available, which is a handy feature.

The windows in Hackney Town Hall’s Assembly Hall are awe inspiring. The sprung dance floor is original, and the 1930’s chandeliers are exquisite. This amazingly big room can be broken down into three smaller rooms with partitions and is equipped with AV facilities. 550 guests can enjoy a lovely standing reception in this huge space, and 300 can be seated for dinner. When it’s partitioned, each of the three spaces can hold 80 guests for a sit-down meal or 180 if they are standing.

The Museum of the Order of St Johns

The gorgeous St John’s Gate formed the entrance of the priory that was once the headquarters of the Knights of St John. It’s located in Clerkenwell, and the exterior is just stunning. The elaborate details have been very well maintained, and an event in one of the spaces here will not easily be forgotten.

The Norman Crypt is an almost indescribable space with spectacular ceilings and stone flooring. The sheer amount of history flows through the room and envelops its guests as they take in their surroundings. It would make a fantastic reception hall and can accommodate 200 people.

For a small dinner event in an intimate and historically significant venue, The Council Chamber might be just the right place. 25 guests can be seated in this panelled room, which dates from 1504.

Shoreditch Studios

Shoreditch is booming, and with such a fantastic venue, those seeking an exciting space for photo shoots are in luck. The Studios are located in EC2A 3HH, which makes it easily accessible and convenient.

Studio 1 is 2,000 square feet of white and brick walls, interesting sliding doors, an 8 meter wide private cove with herringbone wood floors and an open plan dining area. It’s a great space for a photo shoot, and features an adjoining hair and make-up room.

The Flat Upstairs is literally a flat above other spaces. Large windows allow beautiful natural light to come through, and the bathroom is outfitted with marble everywhere. There is 1,500 square feet of space available, and it would make a very interesting space for a shoot, as well as a special corporate team event.

Gracepoint

This venue is one of the largest performing arts venues in the city. It’s located in Islington, and boasts of having nearly 2,000 seats. A former cinema that was opened in 1930, the mission of the venue is to maintain and manage this Grade II listed property for the purpose in which it was originally intended. Gracepoint can be used as a place of worship, meeting location or a fantastic option for a performance. A large reception area is a great place for breaks or for meeting prior to entering the main room.

Estorick Collection

A Grade II listed Georgian building which hosts an internationally known collection of Modern Italian art & sculpture dating from 1890 to the 1950s. Their location is just 5 minutes from Islington town hall, and the surrounding art makes it a fantastic venue for a wedding. Hiring the upper or lower galleries is possible, and so is renting the entire building.
