In 1993, Elizabeth and Suzanne opened Limoncello Delicatessen at the Angel Islington,with a kitchen preparing food for the shop and a garden café at the back. Pioneers in producing ready made dishes to take home and enjoy, Limoncello was also a treasure trove of fresh foods, groceries and drinks from small producers who shared a similar passion for food.

Since then, Limoncello has grown from this much loved local shop and established itself as a quality caterer, based close to the City of London in Shoreditch supplying both corporate and private customers with handmade freshly prepared food, using the finest ingredients.

From sandwich platters to elegant canapés, boxed salads to hot buffets, Limoncello provides an easy to use, flexible service catering to a wide variety of customers, from charities and local councils to photographers and flower schools. Limoncello can simply deliver food ready to go, or organize every aspect of an event including service and hire.

Limoncello is independently owned and personally managed by Elizabeth and Suzanne, whose aim is to provide excellent food and service-they are always available to provide professional advice, discuss menus or prepare estimates. The team is completed by Selina Rovai, a talented chef with many years of experience, and her assistants... not forgetting Jonnie Palmer in charge of deliveries - and who is a talented jazz guitarist on the side!
